Man this is no lie fam, last year was my first year in college so I was just a typical freshman always tryna find moves. Now mind you, I go to an out of state college thats 3-4 hours away from home because African parents be on that popping up on you at unnecessary times shit. Anyways, during my first week there one of my suite mates found a party for us to go to. On my way there, my dad calls me and I press ignore because tf? It’s only syllabus week and I’m just tryna turnt. He calls me 3 times and the 3rd time I pick up. He talking about some “he had a dream where my grandmom said, “I was in a dark room with a lot of people dancing around me and she heard gunshots so he should call me to make sure I’m home.” So my dad stayed on the phone with me to make sure I turned around and walked back home. I was pissed. Well, two minutes after I got to my dorm, I got a university alert of there being a shooting at the party I was about to go to. I ain’t been to a party ever since fam. My grandma lurking.
