• Berenstein/stain bears got people contemplating the existence of parallel universes
  
• Sam Pepper kidnapped a man and acted out a fake execution of his best friend in front of him for a youtube “prank”
  
• Donald Trump suggested fascist plans of documenting and banning all muslims in the United States, gained support for it
  
• Tumblr user foreverhonest made a post seriously trying to convince people that there’s a bus full of people who wear “Down With Cis” shirts who just go around and beat random people up

So overall cool year, aside from the fact that it was basically a year-long onion article come to life.
